Webzen has sent word that the first beta event for ASTA has kicked off as of today, Tuesday, November 3rd. Players will be able to level to 50 and check out the games main features and story.

The initial beta test gives players a first insight into the game’s settings and features, allowing them to progress up to level 50 and experience every facet the game has to offer. Players can immerse themselves in a beautifully crafted fantasy world inspired by Asian myths and legends, in which two factions vie for control and power: The Asu, followers of the goddess Arita, and the Ora, the disciples of the dark god Umra. Players can choose between 3 races per faction, and a total of 5 distinct classes.

Dreamatrix has announced that its non-linear RPG, Wave of Darkness, will complete its early access and enter full release on Thursday, November 5th. During the early access, players provided the development team with bug fixes and constructive criticism that paved the way for an improved experience for new users.

Wave of Darkness invites players to a huge dark and gritty fantasy world which can be explored the way the players want and whenever they want. The world of Narr is corrupted by the mysterious and bloodthirsty cults, and player will have to do their best to free land from this malicious deviance.

Wave of Darkness offers non-linear, open-world roleplaying gameplay with tons of quests, over 70 hours of gameplay, an advanced spell generator, crafting and massive amounts of loot.

Elex has just announced that its RTS with RPG elements game Clash of Kings will now be available globally on a trio of platforms: Android, iOS, PC. The game is said to offer 800 servers, cross-server gameplay and localization in several languages.

In Clash of Kings players have the ability to explore a beautifully designed medieval world and stand tall among allies and enemies in one of the most unforgiving PvP battle mechanics this genre has seen. PvE battles are also an integral part of gameplay and, based on players levels, monsters will await a fierce battle with your Kings’ army.

Recently, Spiders and Focus Home Interactive have released a new trailer for The Technomancer that introduces players to three distinct combat styles as well as the first steps on Mars.

Combat styles include:

 

• Staff: Highly mobile long-ranged melee to hit multiple targets.
• Rogue with knife and gun: Agile, mobile, with dodges, rolls, and effective CC with the gun.
• Protection with mace and shield: Parry, block, and beat them to death with powerful attacks!

Gazillion Entertainment has announced that Blade has entered Marvel Heroes 2015 as of today, Friday, October 30th. Considered one “of our flashier characters”, Blade has special flare and vampiric powers, just the ticket for the night before Halloween. In other Halloween happenings in MH2015, players can check out Franken-Castle, a special Team-Up and look over the Symbiote Wolverine Enhanced Costume that comes packed with new animations and voice-overs.

“The Danger Room is an all-new experience, built for level 60-plus players of every skill and gear level. Inside, players are able to activate and enter ‘scenarios’ – randomly generated dungeons with affixes that alter the gameplay experience. In one scenario, you might have the challenge of not being able to use a healing medkit, but in exchange, have reduced cooldowns on all of your powers. Another scenario might amplify all enemies in the scenario with a particular affix, while also populating the area with dangerous landmines. The level of difficulty of these scenarios is variable – the easiest ones can be played the moment you reach level 60, but the hardest ones will require a combination of skill, strategy, and gear to complete. You decide how hard you want it to be and what level of challenge you want to play.”

Neverwinter will be expanding on November 17th with the launch of the next module, Underdark. In Underdark, players will descend into the depths of the world and the home of the Drow which is guided by none other than Drizzt Do’Urden. Players will experience a quest chain penned by the legendary R.A. Salvatore.

NCSoft has announced that the first closed beta event for Blade & Soul will kick off on Thursday, October 29th at 10:00 am Pacific / 1:00 pm Eastern. All Founder’s Pack members have instant access as well as those who signed up on the site and were chosen for participation.

This is the first of four planned weekend events over the next twenty-one days in preparation for launch in 2016.

All Star Wars: The Old Republic players can now log into the game to experience Bioware‘s return to story with the Knights of the Fallen Empire expansion. KotFE has brought significant changes to several game systems and brings story back to the forefront of the SWTOR experience.

Players create their own adventure to new planets in the outer rim of the galaxy, meet companions and recruit them as allies, make choices that have the power to change destiny, and determine the fate of the galaxy.
