Pearl Abyss gave a preview of the awakening states for Warrior, Sorcerer and Giant last month, and they have announced the Warrior’s awakening would arrive on the Korean server of Black Desert on October 22nd.

Weapon awakening system is a weapon-swapping mechanic which makes the character more powerful. Characters of Black Desert can switch the weapon to a different one when all the requirements are met. Players will see Warrior to be the first character getting this system, then Sorceress and Giant. Other than wielding sword and shield, Warrior will change his weapon to a great sword in awakening state dealing much more damage when certain prerequisites are met.

Campfire Games has finally announced the launch of their Kickstarter for the American Civil War FPS game, War of Rights.

War of Rights is a multiplayer game set around the tumultuous period of the American Civil War, during the Maryland Campaign of September 1862. Campfire Games is devoted to presenting the gruesome and glorious elements of the period, while maintaining the highest level of historical accuracy and realism as possible thanks to the wonders of CRYENGINE.

Recently ,Wadjet Eye has announced that Shardlight will be arriving on PC first in spring of next year, with the mobile versions releasing later in 2016.

Recently, it has been confirmed that Black Desert Online will be launching its alpha test in Europe and North America relatively soon. The exact schedule hasn’t been unveiled, but the Korean publisher Daum will publish the game in the west by themselves.

Word is out that Monster Hunter Online, the 3D action MMORPG developed by Tencent and CAPCOM, will be launching a no-wipe test this year in China. More details regarding the launch will be revealed in TGC 2015(Tencent Games Carnival 2015). Camelot Unchained has recently undergone an update which is claimed to be a huge one that contains some great information about the latest class to be revealed, the Archers. It is said that Archers come in three forms, each with its own set of unique abilities: Winter’s Shadow, Forest Stalker and Blackguard.

First, the votes are in, and the winner is F, the Archer Trio. Archers are one of the more difficult trios, in terms of conveying how they are going to be effective in the game, while sticking to our plan of having non-mirrored classes. At a minimum, we are using differences in the type of ammunition, power of bows, camouflage abilities, and other factors to differentiate them, but we are also using some major differences in playstyles. If you look at the class descriptions here, you will see that the Viking Archer is not just a long-range damage dealer, but also an adept skirmisher. The Arthurians may have, in some ways, the most powerful bows, but the Tuatha Dé Danann archers have a strong crowd control element in their quivers, as well as the ability to call on their trees to aid them in both combat and with ammo. Pretty cool, eh? As per above, and as always, these Archers are truly non-mirrored classes.
