EVE: Valkyrie’s Carrier Assault update deployed

Word is out that EVE: Valkyrie has been patched with the Carrier Assault update. Players can now take part in multi-stage Carrier Assault battles, play on the Crossroads map, and more. The update is described as follows.

We’re really excited about bringing you the first of many free major updates to EVE: Valkyrie. This update includes the all-new Carrier Assault mode, a dynamic and deeply tactical game mode that rewards teamwork and communication, as well as additional content like the new Crossroads map, the new Boost Gate feature, and lots more updates and improvements to the game.

Minecraft : Wii U Edition has launched in the US

Minecraft fans will be delighted to hear that the boxed version of Minecraft for Wii U is now available in stores in the United States with retail price of $29.99. The version comes with all of the add-on content packs in the Nintendo eShop version of the game including the Super Mario Mash-Up Pack that brings everyone’s favorite Nintendo character into the game.

The Super Mario Mash-Up Pack is only available in  Minecraft: Wii U Edition. The bonus content gives players 40 new  Super Mario-themed skins, which transform the game’s characters into familiar heroes like Mario, Luigi and Princess Peach, and even troublemakers like Wario and all seven Koopalings. All the world and item textures in the game will also be redone, providing players the opportunity to create their own  Super Mario-themed locations within the world of  Minecraft. Builders of all ages will love crafting massive new worlds using building blocks inspired by a series as accessible and iconic as  Super Mario.

Warframe : New Team Sport game mode

Recently, Warframe was announced of its upcoming latest three patches, including the initialization of a new game mode. Lunaro is a new team-based sport within the game that challenges groups of four to defend their goal while simultaneously trying to shoot the “Lunaro” (the ball) through the opponent’s goal.

A contact ball sport played long ago by Tenno of years past, Lunaro is a new Conclave mode that accommodates up to four players per team. This new game mode focuses on skill, mobility, teamwork and creativity.

Planetside : Game shutting down

Daybreak Games Company recently gave out word that it has decided to shut down PlanetSide. The server will be shutting down on July 1st at 4:00 pm Pacific / 7:00 pm Eastern. The reason for pulling the plug on the game is “due to evolving business needs and technical requirements”. All present and former players are invited to give the game the send off it deserves in the coming weeks.

On a side note, Daybreak also announced that the Everquest TCG Legends of Norrath will also be closing.

 

Trinium Wars :F2P Steam release announced

InselGames and anmarusoft have announced that Trinium Wars is now in commercial release and available on Steam as a free to play game The team feels that most issues have been resolved as well as reported bugs being ironed out paving the way for today’s exit from Early Access.

With each update, players could follow the growth and completion of the game and provide their feedback to the developers via the Steam forum. Hanmarusoft took the suggestions into consideration and many changes have been made to the game based on this feedback, most significant the change to Free to Play. As a final touch to the commercial version localization mistakes and balancing issues have been fixed.

Book of Demons:Early Access on July 28th

Thing Trunk has announced that its upcoming hack-n-slash RPG Book of Demons will be launching on Steam Early Access on July 28th. In BoD, players collect cards and use them to create a deck for use in battle in procedurally generated dungeons that are randomly populated. The twist? Book of Demons is set in a “paper-cut” universe.

Book of Demons is described as a “deck building hack’n’slash adventure where players determine the length of quests”. According to the site, game sessions can last five minutes or five hours depending on what the player wishes.

Early Access packages run $17.99 for the next nine days, $19.99 afterwards.

Crash Bandicoot: Being Remastered for PS4

Recently, Sony has announced that Crash Bandicoot will be making a return as part of a partnership between the company and Activision, owner of the Crash Bandicoot property. The companies have decided to release fully remastered versions of Crash Bandicoot, Crash Bandicoot 2, and Crash Bandicoot Warped will be released forPlayStation 4.

The announcement was made during Sony’s E3 2016 press conference, where Sony’s Shawn Layden also revealed Crash will also be in the upcoming Skylanders Imaginators game. A trailer has also been made to celebrate this big moment where you can watch below:

EVE: Valkyrie : New features in coming update

Recently, some information about the incoming update to EVE: Valkyrie was discussed on its site.In the coming June 20th update, players can look forward to a brand new game mode called Carrier Assault with a three-stage objective to complete. The Crossroads map will also be added as well as some new single-player content, improvements and much more.

The new Crossroads map is also available in both Scout and Survival game modes. Learning every nook and cranny of the new terrain can give you the edge in combat. As a reward for this exploration you will discover new hidden Salvage crates (giving you crafting currency), and new Echoes that provide more back story on the history of EVE: Valkyrie and its characters.

Fortnite : Update v7.0

The 7.0 update to the Fortnite alpha will be deployed soon with a number of significant changes to core game features. Players can expect a new static skill tree with specific regard to upgrading buildings and sub-buildings. The Home Base buildings have been completely removed. Also, keep in mind that the application of the 7.0 update will result in resetting account progression and the refunding of V-bucks.
