I’ve been a transformers fan since I was a child, I’m always pumped to see new characters added to the games.

GBE Games is set to launch their biggest update yet for The Aurora World. “The Guardians” update is due tomorrow. A new deeply-layered system known as the Guardians, will allow players to further customize their character’s strengths. Along with the new Guardian system, players will be able to continue their journey further into the heart of the Demon World with the level-cap raise to 89. Getting level 89 will unock new class skills, Majinns to capture, fashions to own, challenges to conquer, and more.

The Guardians’ update will allow players the ability to drastically improve their character(s) stats in a variety of ways that by finding and slotting magical stones to their guardian. Based on ancient astrology, the guardians will add a unique flair to all adventurers able to unlock these mysterious entities; appearances will change, reflective on the character class and level of the guardian. Players who’ve unlocked their guardian will be able to enter exclusive-zones where they’ll be able to forage and loot for unique items.

On top of the Guardian system, players will be able to pick-up on where they left-off and delve deeper into the Demon World’s main fortress, the Dragon City. The gates will finally open to those capable and daring enough to enter, allowing level 80+ adventurers to continue their quests, unlock new and powerful skills and ultimately, take on the new dungeon, the Unreal Cave.

For the more PVP-oriented players, this update will introduce a new MOBA-style inspired map into the fold. The climactic end of to all Clan War battle will take place in this area where the final two clans will go head-to-head with one another that’ll involve teamwork, communication and territory-control to eventually capture the opposing clan’s base! Not enough for you PVP-aficionados? Resource Wars which is a nation-wide event that allow players from opposing nations to steal resources from one another in exchange for prizes, has received a buff to its system. One time during the week, the event will grant a special buff to the defending nation who’ll then be able to transform randomly into multitude of almighty deities with powers specifically designed to fend off the attacking nations.

Black Gold Online is an upcoming MMORPG due to go into alpha testing later this month. As players await the testing, a new class has been unveiled with details of their play style and abilities.

The Skycaller is the latest class unveiled for Black Gold Online, and it is a mixture of ranged DPS, crowd controller, and team support. Quite a mix! This type of class is what I love to go for in MMO’s. I love the action of being on the front line, but you can’t beat the feeling of power when playing a magical character. As you would imagine with a powerful ranged character, they specialise in light armours, so don’t try to get too close.

Just a few of their moves;

Cruel Gale: from the vengeful heart of the storm, the Skycaller channels a turbulent spirit, transforming briefly into a high speed cyclone, causing damage and speed reduction effect on nearby enemies.

Frigid Snare: capturing a powerful blizzard, the Skycaller becomes encased in a protective cocoon of ice, preventing all damage. When the ice shatters, all nearby enemies become frozen in place.

Glacial Rift: frozen air hangs softly over the cooling bodies of the Skycaller’s enemies. Skycaller selects a piece of ground, summoning an icy mountain to crash upon it and crushing enemies in its wake, causing heavy damage and armor debuffs for a period of time.

Aeria Games have just announced their first major update to Eden Eternal since the game’s Reawakening patch. The level cap is being raised from 75 to 100, and with the raise in level cap players can now visit three new maps, four new dungeons, and more.

The Eloise Plains, a new map, constitutes a common route through the knight’s realm, and contains two new dungeons. The Meteor Crater is the impact site of a large meteor, which has brought rare crystal deposits with it, which are to be found amongst the smoldering landscape. Players should also seek their fortunes in the second dungeon, the Dark Tide Cave.

Hayward Seavale, a new lakeside map, has been seriously affected by the meteor shower and faces many new dangers. The mysterious Durango Kingdom, an ancient city long lost, has been rediscovered and brings with it two more dungeons: The Kahlo Tower, a magical palace of the ancient kingdom, and the Iyernafalo.

Along with the new maps and dungeons, players can expect new level 80 dungeons, an update in racial crafting and the ability to upgrade their guild to level 10. Eden Eternal is free to play, find out more here.

Most gamers have been waiting for more news on the upcoming Elder Scrolls Online mmorpg. Testing at various stages has been and gone, the game is ready to launch on April 4th for PC and MAC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One users will have to wait until June. This autumn, WoW players around the globe will be able to dive into Warcraft’s brutal past when the latest expansion; Warlords of Draenor charges into stores worldwide. Player’s can pre-order the expansion digitally at www.worldofwarcraft.com/warlords. Players who pre-purchase will receive their character boost to level 90, active immediately. For an mmorpg that has been going so long I love that they introduced this level boost feature, it allows new players to join their friends quickly, and for existing players to try a new style.

This is the fifth expansion to the World of Warcraft mmorpg. It leads players to the untamed world of Draenor, where the orc warchief Grommash Hellscream is forging his twisted Iron Horde into a world-shattering weapon of conquest. The German indie developer The Games Foundation has successfully launched the open beta for their mobile mmo; Hyperion Online. The game is designed specifically for tablets and smartphones, it’s free to play and set in outer space. It’s available free now for android, with versions for iOS, Windows Phone and other platforms confirmed to be released soon.

In the role of a renegade star-ship captain, players take the helm of a mighty star-ship, venture forth into the depths of outer space, and discover countless star systems and planets. Asteroids floating in space can be mined for valuable mineral ore, which can be traded with other players. When visiting star bases, players can spend the ore to upgrade the weapons, armor plating, repair devices and engine boosters of their star-ship, or even have an entirely new star-ship manufactured for them from scratch. In addition, crew members can be recruited and trained at those star bases to improve their combat skills and defend your ship against space pirates that try to steal the valuable mineral ores.
