The latest development news post from the Outriders team, People Can Fly, goes over balancing, the next patch, and recognized problems with the community.

Balancing was a major topic in this post with the community manager admitting to have actually composed a 3400 word draft discussing balancing. However, as the Reddit post notes, issues regarding the infamous and ongoing stock remediation and damage migration issues rendered that draft “out of touch.” – however, a quick glimpse into balancing discussion was offered;

“Regarding further balancing, we first want to see how things shake up regarding our latest patch, since damage mitigation issues or malfunctioning mods could push the meta in certain directions… not because something is unbalanced, but because players might not have been finding certain aspects of play reliable enough to use consistently. And yes, we’d want to focus primarily on buffs, not nerfs.”

Relating to the next update, it’s as of this moment in testing. Patch notes aren’t available right now, but be on the lookout as they might be shared soon ish. A Player gratitude package was also noted because more news will be shared once a validated live date is identified.

Understood concerns were listed and included trolls causing player disconnections at the end of Expeditions, sign-in issues, connection problems throughout multiplayer, crashes, and memory leakages. You can check out the full post here.
