Recently, there has been a lot of attention on the latest gaming series from CD Projekt RED, a renowned developer of some of the most exciting titles in the world today. This newest game is the much-anticipated Cyberpunk 2077 that is set to redefine the world of modern-day gaming. It is believed that it will earn the developers an estimated $1 billion worth of revenue.

Interestingly, the game has seen some incredible additions to its features. Your created character in the game can be customized immensely for starters, giving you so much room for possibilities. You can now even alter the appearance of some of the most subtle features of an in-game character. Most of the customization capabilities are not present in even the best of modern games today.

Expected Releases

CD Projekt Red are the same developers who brought you the world-famous Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, a game that many players across the world seemed not to get enough of. Originally, Cyberpunk 2077 was supposed to have been on the shelves by April 17th of this year.

However, the developer revealed that the game needed a lot of work to turn it into something that the players would appreciate, pushing its release to later in the year. It was finally released on December 10th on some of the popular platforms such as PlayStation 4, Windows, and Stadia. Part of the reason for this delay was the onset of the global pandemic that has continued to ravage the world.

The Mini-Game Trademark

CD Projekt Red always has another trick up its sleeve. Just like in The Witcher 3, the latest game from the developer will most likely feature a mini-game. In Witcher 3, the mini-game was known as Gwent, which was an enthralling card game that often required you to collect different cards from in game quests and challenges.

You could access these cards from anywhere across the vast open world in the game. Much of the recent popularity was also because Netflix took up a task to develop a TV series that followed the game’s storyline, which attracted about 27,400 players on Steam in October 2020.

In the game, players had the opportunity to gain some money and acquire even more powerful cards if they won Gwent’s game. You even had the chance to take on some of the best Gwent gurus across the world. The Witcher 3 mini-game popularity inspired the development of standalone titles such as Thronbreaker and Gwent: Witcher Card Game.

Gambling Expectations

It is natural to wonder what sort of gambling will be incorporated in the new Cyberpunk 2077 game. This game is one for the history books, so you can expect to see many innovative ideas. Many online live casino games might be featured in the title, some of which you are probably already familiar with.

It might be a massive tech casino that could allow you to play some of the most popular games such as roulette, keno, poker, craps, and online slots. It would be interesting to see a new version of these that you haven’t played before, seeing as the game will have a futuristic appeal.
