My.com has announced that it will be shutting down Cloud Pirates on September 29th. Not much details has been provided as to why they chose to discontinue the game but it is assumed that the game’s progress just didn’t match up to the developers’ expectations.
From now through September 29th, several buffs will be enabled for those who continue to wish to play, all DLC will be available for free and any purchased items can be refunded for other My.com premium currencies.
