ARK: Survival Evolved’s PC update v257 has been delayed a few days – announced developers yesterday, with a new ETA of Wednesday, May 3, as this will allow more time for the developers to work on the update whilst most importantly, allowing players time to move their bases –  before the patch goes live – out of the volcano area and into the safe zone, which is now visible in the game, after a client-side patch was pushed out yesterday morning.

The update is set to bring the TEK Cave & Volcano – and the volcano will be receiving ‘active remodelling’ that will allow it to ”consume anything in the vicinity” as well as ‘tons of new features’, including four new creatures,  Ascension, more UI overhaul, new music tracks and structures, and more.
