Thanks to the inclusion of both standard mode and ‘non-targeted’ action modes, Riders of Icarus players will have an opportunity to choose between two different combat styles. Players can turn the camera with the mouse and can attack at will or fire where the crosshairs point.
Standard mode, as the name indicates, is the “normal” attack mode of most MMOs. Action mode is recommended for melee classes and aerial combat and can alternately give players the feeling of a hack ‘n slash game or a shooter. Standard mode is recommended for more ranged classes including Priest for targeting players for healing or Wizards to make better use of ranged skills.
