The Smite World Championship tournament has been announced to begin this Thursday, January 7th and the run through the finals on Sunday, January 10th. To get eSports fans hyped up, Hi-Rez Studios has released a cinematic trailer which can be viewed from below:

Hi-Rez will broadcast its keynote address on Thursday at 16:00 GMT / 17:00 CET via http://www.twitch.tv/smitegame, which will include several announcements for SMITE, Hi-Rez’s all-new FPS, Paladins, and the studio’s upcoming mobile game, Jetpack Fighter. The twitch channel will also be used to broadcast live all the action happening at SWC later on.
