ProSiebenSat.1 Games and Koch Media have recently announced that PlanetSide 2 will be available as a boxed product for the first time. It’s due to hit the shelves on August 16th 2013 priced at £7.99. The downloadable version of this mmofps has always been available for free and will remain so.
For £7.99 new players are being treated to content worth over £40 if they were to buy it separately. At launch the retail version will include the latest client with all updates and expansions, as you would expect. So far, the boxed game also includes;
