Brought to us by Spicy Horse Games, Akaneiro: Demon Hunters is an action-RPG featuring an Edo-era Japan setting with monsters based on Japanese folklore and myth.
Initially 5,000 players will be invited into the closed beta and when the Spicy Horse team is comfortable they will bring in another 5,000 to increase server load and continue testing. Additional waves of testers will be allowed in as needed to test the game, balance content, and ensure server stability, with the eventual launch of Open Beta to come in the future.
Personally I really enjoy the style of art in the game and I’ll always have a soft spot for Japanese feudal weaponry. Check out the look of the game with their trailer below.
