CCP Games have announced the next big update for EVE Online, it’s name “Retribution”. It’s release marking the 18th free expansion to EVE Online.
With it the in game bounty system, allowing playings to place a bounty on the head of another player to get someone else to do the dirty work, a brilliant addition I feel. Also seeing changes is the existing aggression flagging system better known in game as “Crimewatch”.
The new patch will see all frigates, destroyers and cruisers collectively reworked in a tremendous game balancing effort that should lead to massive play style refreshments for players of all skill levels. Four new Tier 2 destroyer-class ships will be added alongside major changes in other systems, including NPC artificial intelligence, factional warfare, sound design and the user interface. All together it sounds like a fair amount of content to expect, EVE players should be very happy.
More details will be released on the official feature page and developer blogs up until the release day. EVE Online: Retribution is due this December 4th.
