Blizzard’s next MMO could be the ultimate destination for current World of Warcraft players according to analyst Edward Woo

World Of Warcraft 2 is reportedly not on the cards at Blizzard, with Titan believed to be a new IP – and although WoW’s first 20 levels just went free-to-play, Titan is unlikely to follow that model.

“Acceptance and success for the next MMO really depends on the game,” Woo told NowGamer. “If it’s done right, I can see Blizzard transitioning players from WoW to this new game.”

The Wedbush Securities analyst doesn’t anticipate many Blizzard fans shelling out two subscriptions a month though.

“I don’t think anybody would sign up for two subscription MMOs, so it will likely be an either game choice for most. I think Blizzard’s track record can get the new MMO to do well,” added Woo.

Reports suggest that Titan won’t launch until 2013.
