The gargoyle hordes of Lord Pyrrus are advancing, and they will show no mercy. An indie MMO with player-created towns and sandbox-style crafting, Villagers and Heroes is coming to Steam on April 17th. And it’s coming with a bang, with the massive expansion; Fury of the Stone Lord.

Dawngate is the latest MOBO to break out onto the scene. It’s brought to us by Waystone Games, and they boasting a fast paced game from start to finish, with a flexible META. The metagame, or main strategies and character combinations that are used usually has a free for all in new MOBA games, before settling into a more predictable fashion. Hopefully Dawngate will have it right and will have a truly flexible META.

New Scottish developers Mental Universe have announced their iOS title M0B1US, it’s set to be released on iPhone and iPod Touch this Thursday, April 10th.

M0B1US is an endless runner, but with a twist; instead of running in a single direction, in M0B1US players run around all four sides of their screen whilst jumping and sliding over randomly-generated obstacles. It’s a basic concept, you run, obstacles appear, you must dodge the obstacles. The longer you live, the higher your score, this is the highly addictive and competitive side of M0B1US. It’s a fast-paced game, with simple one-touch controls, and will probably have you saying “Just one more go…” as you try to set a new high-score, which you can then share via Facebook or Game Center.

M0B1US will initially be available on iPhone and iPod Touch, with an iPad version due to be released soon. Hopefully it wont take them long to get on to other formats too.

Black Desert is a Korean MMORPG that’s currently going through phases of beta testing. I wanted to share their promotional video with you, it’s quite astounding the level of detail you control when creating the looks of your character. If you are anything like me you will be able to spend some good time getting everything just right!

I can’t see a European release anytime soon but we can hope this raises the bar enough and other MMO’s will start to add this level of customisation.

After just over two months in Beta testing, Jagged Alliance Online has finally reached it’s open release phase for Spanish speaking fans and Latin American players. Check out the official website, it’s free-to-play game that can be played directly on the browser through the Unity engine.

From now on the Spanish-speaking fans will be able to access and enjoy better customer service and community management fully in their language. This is really important as many problems take much longer to fix when players and staff do not speak the same language!

The Beta testing was a great opportunity to show the different PvP modes that are available: “Death Match”, “Wanted”, “Total Destruction” and “War Zones”, a competitive tournament in which player alliances face each other for the control of territories. Another benefit of having servers localised by language is that you can usually communicate much easier with other players, this makes PvP and PvE much more fun.

“Stoneman” from Planetside 2 gives us his latest breakdown of the fighting between the three factions. This episode takes the form of a news report and gives a really cool edge to the battles, just watching it is getting me fired up to play!

Habbo developers Sulake have just announced the release of Habbo on the iPad.  The app features the ability to chat, make friends , create your own pixel art and more. You can now buy the game immediately via the Canadian app store whilst the rest of the world has to wait several weeks. Sulake intend to launch an Android version in the latter end of 2014. Larian Studios has unleashed a monstrous update for Divinity: Original Sin on Steam Early Access, taking the MMO into beta while including heaps of new abilities and skills. The beta comes as a welcome overhaul for players who are already enjoying the alpha in both solo and co-agent play. To celebrate the beta launch, Larian has also released a new video that showcases the massive variety. Watch the video to see how you can combine spells to devastating effect; use the environment to your advantage and much more. There are over 400 improvements in this update including a host of new features such as:
