World of Warcraft players will no longer be required to log out of the game in order to change details about their characters. Several once-online only services have been moved directly into the game client via the in-game store. This means that players will be able to change appearance, faction, name or race directly from the shop interface on the character-select screen while not being logged into the game itself.

• Appearance Change—Change your character’s appearance, including their gender, face, skin color, hair color, hair style, and name as desired.
• Faction Change—Switch your allegiance from Horde to Alliance or Alliance to Horde.
• Name Change—Change your character’s name to something a bit more.
• Race Change—Change your race to one within your same faction.

Perfect World Entertainment Inc. and Cryptic Studios have announced that Neverwinter: Underdark will be coming out in the fall of 2015 . This is the eighth expansion of the action MMORPG set in the Dungeons & Dragons’ Forgotten Realms universe from Wizards of the Coast and will be launched for the Xbox One following the PC launch.The newest expansion will see players stand ground with Drizzt Do’Urden, as he battles the dreaded Demogorgon in a 10-player encounter. Following the expansion , players will also battle against the two-headed Demogorgon, Demon Lord, alongside classic Dungeons & Dragons characters including Regis and Bruenor Battlehammer. Prior to tackling the new 10-player battle, Neverwinter players will take part in a special quest line written by New York Times Best-Selling Author, R.A. Salvatore, whose recently released novel Archmage kicks off the Rage of Demons story.

Obsidian Entertainment and My.com have announced the Open Beta test for Armored Warfare which consists of two parts: Head Start which is today until the 7th of October and Open Beta for all which will start on the 8th of October. The OBT features five different classes of vehicles, 9 unique PvP maps, 15v15 PvP battle mode, 25 PvE maps, player military bases. The open beta trailer can be viewed from the video below:

The Head Start is the term for one week period when the Open Beta client is available to Founder’s Pack owners only. This means that players can join the Head Start phase by purchasing the Founder’s Packs that will remain available until the end of the Head Start and the start of the Open Beta phase.

Ubisoft and Blue Byte announced that a large update featuring brand-new content is now available for their browser-based strategy game which is The Settlers Online: Castle Empire.The update includes various of new features such as 30 new buildings and upgrades for 60 different buildings and raising the level cap to 75 which allows players to unlock new quests, achievements, items, tasks for the specialists, and discover new production lines, resources, military units and an expansion of the home island. Also players can join an epic raid and fight against new enemy units in a new mysterious desert setting from Arabian Nights.

EA has just announced that Star Wars Battlefront Beta will be open for everyone starting from October 8 to October 12. The beta is available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. According to EA, all the data will be wiped after the beta comes to an end. They have also publicly informed that during the testing of the beta , players may find themselves encountering errors and defects in the game. Diligent players may report whatever errors and defects they can find while testing out the beta so that the developers may work on it to provide a better gaming experience.

The official announcement has stated that players can try out the 40-player Walker Assault mode, a Survival mission, and the new Drop Zone game type.One part of this is a strategic card game called Base Command that lets players earn in-game credits that could be used to unlock Star Cards, weapons and more in the full Battlefront game. In addition to Base Command, the Companion also lets players check out game stats and progression, customize load-outs , appearance and connect with friends.

GTArcade has just launched Update 2.50 for their wildly popular browser-based MMORPG, MageRealm . However , players weren’t happy with it due to changes to stats, leveling, and more. There are also a great many players unhappy with the fact that their wings—that they paid for—were taken away a week ago while the team re-balanced them. But that’s not all.

The new update has introduced several exploits that have invalidated monetary investments into the game on a large-scale which is now causing a big amount of players to leave the game. Apparently, there is an exploit which is easy to discover that allows players to get several copies of end game gear easily. Players that switch servers are credited with 99999 units of cash shop currency and many players have suffered loss of gear and stats.

There are also several events that they “did not even test” making their way to live servers, with rollback already promised.Supposedly, none of this has been worked on because the developers don’t work on weekends. Even if they’ve just pushed out a major patch.

Team Wildstar has just announced that they have decided to revisit some art decisions for the game Wildstar : Reloaded which will be launched on September 29 .This means that Wildstar: Reloaded will have tons of updates with the graphics and visual designs , which will start from the low level starter zones while working its way up to the higher level ones.
