NCSoft has just announced that they are ready to bring Aion to Steam on Thursday, October 29th. According to NCSoft, bringing Aion to Steam will convenience for existing players.

With a North American player base that has been growing since the game’s launch in 2009, Aion continues to enjoy regular updates including the release of the game’s latest expansion, Aion: Upheaval.  With the game’s arrival on Steam, players will be able to collect additional content exclusively on the platform including 11 trading cards, five emoticons, five profile backgrounds and a profile badge with six stages of evolution. The Steam launch also brings a brand new server to all Aion players called Beritra, the first new server since the free-to-play transition.

After barely succeeding on Kickstarter earlier this year, the MMORPG game Descent: Underground has now arrived on Steam Early Access. The game hits Steam Early Access with two initial modes and three maps (plus the option to fly solo, or against bots) to begin with, but the Descendent Studios team will be adding more as they go along.  There are already other ideas in the pipeline, such as a capture the flag mode and others.  Additional maps will be incoming, as well.  It seems early, but the team felt they had enough together to start getting the game out to the fans.

Smile Gate has just revealed a new video that introduces the current development and a tiny bit of gameplay for its highly anticipated MMORPG: Lost Ark. According to Smile Gate, the game is scheduled to kick off its first Closed Beta test in the first half of next year. The ArcheAge team has announced on the game’s official forum, explaining that they’re going to remove the blockades in the game. According to the announcement, the decision is made in order to provide a better gameplay experience for the players.

Starting on October 23rd, players can no longer set up blockades anywhere in the game via any means. In addition, they may also not able to use their vehicles, ships, bodies, or another means to block someone from planting on their private land, interactable items, or from blocking NPCs in such a way that they cannot be interacted with.

Leading up to October 23rd, users who create blockades will receive a warning, and will have their blockades removed. After the 23rd, users who initiate blockades may receive temporary or permanent account bans for repeated abuse.

Pearl Abyss gave a preview of the awakening states for Warrior, Sorcerer and Giant last month, and they have announced the Warrior’s awakening would arrive on the Korean server of Black Desert on October 22nd.

Weapon awakening system is a weapon-swapping mechanic which makes the character more powerful. Characters of Black Desert can switch the weapon to a different one when all the requirements are met. Players will see Warrior to be the first character getting this system, then Sorceress and Giant. Other than wielding sword and shield, Warrior will change his weapon to a great sword in awakening state dealing much more damage when certain prerequisites are met.

Conquer Online has expanded yet again with the launch of the Kingdom War content upgrade. Since the launch , server wars are raging with one invading another’s city and by launching military campaigns to plunder gold bricks. Also , players have been working hard to grab the last Talisman, which is known as the “Tempest Wings”.
