The upcoming pirate-themed open world RPG, Tempest has been scheduled for release on August 22nd for PC and Mac at a $14.99 price point. Players can take on merchant vessels for booty or face off against other scallawags seeking to take their booty. Crews can be hired, weapons (including cannons, mortars and flamethrowers) can be obtained and much more. Add in cooperative play and PvP, and players have much to do.
Focusing primarily on the most exciting elements of being a pirate – captaining your own ship and engaging in intense sea battles – the world of Tempest is set across three vast open world regions for you to discover.
