OnNet Europe today launched the new ‘Sky 72’ course for their online golf simulation game, Shot Online. The new course is based on the real Sky 72 course in Korea. The Sky 72 course was made famous by the skilled and classy female golfer Michelle Wie. Shot Online’s ‘Sky 72’ course has wonderful views from either side of the island and is ready to play for novices and skilled players alike, varying weather patterns and wind ill raise and lower the difficulty for you.

“In Shot Online we enjoy emulating the world’s famous and beautiful golf courses , and as our eighth ‘real course’, we are excited for players to experience ‘Sky 72’’, said Kyeong Youn, Production Director from OnNet Europe. “We feel that we have done the course justice. Aside from its picturesque beauty, as an island course, ‘Sky 72’ has unique wind patterns that we worked to duplicate in Shot Online to provide the most realistic experience possible”.
This new season of Shot Online brings new, improved game-play. New features have been added;

  • New quests
  • Courses for all skill levels
  • Three-tiered Worldwide Tour system
    • Completing the Masters School qualifies for the masters ranking tour, which then qualifies them for the world ranking tour.

I think it’s a cool feature that the “real courses” on Shot Online are made to imitate the weather and wind patterns that a real golfer might face. In a golfing sim, this has to count for a lot. Check out the official site to stay up to date with news and competitions for Shot Online.
